🌒 Breathwork for Energy & Clarity

Cycle phase: Follicular
Moon phase: Waxing Moon
Time: 5–10 minutes
Place: A space where you can sit upright with a tall spine

✦ 1. Center yourself
Sit comfortably with your spine straight. Close your eyes. Inhale deeply through the nose, exhale with a sigh. Feel the body awaken, ready for energy to flow.
✦ 2. Activate with breath of fire
Begin short, rhythmic inhales and exhales through the nose, pumping the belly. Keep a steady pace (like a soft, steady drumbeat). Do this for 30–60 seconds, then pause and breathe deeply.
✦ 3. Clarity breath
Inhale slowly for a count of 4. Hold for a count of 4. Exhale for a count of 6. Repeat 5–7 rounds. Feel the mind clearing, energy sharpening.
✦ 4. Visualize expansion
On the inhale, imagine golden light filling your lungs and spreading through your body. On the exhale, release fogginess, doubt, or heaviness.
✦ 5. Integration
Rest your hands on your thighs, palms up. Whisper:✨ “I breathe in clarity. I breathe out doubt. My energy rises with the waxing moon.”
🩸 Note for menstruation (Inner Winter):
If you are currently bleeding, tune in to what feels supportive for your body. The breath of fire (step 2) can sometimes feel too activating during this phase – you may choose to skip it, shorten it, or replace it with slow, deep breathing instead. The other steps are gentle and can be practiced as they are. Always honor your own rhythm and let your practice meet you where you are.
